Our front-line team supports 2 million LEGO® customers from around the world every single year.
Why not come and join the fun as a Danish Advisor at our Slough Customer Contact Centre today?
As you can imagine the situation created by COVID-19 is having a significant impact on every area of our business. First and foremost the health and safety of our colleagues and everyone in our communities is our top priority – including candidates.
At the LEGO Group, one of our company values is caring. We take strength from the fact that play and learning can bring families together for moments of joy, even at the most uncertain times. We also take our employees’ safety very seriously. Currently, all our employees are working from their homes.
At this time we’re committed to continuing our recruitment for advisors for our UK Contact Centre, based in Slough, Berkshire. We’ve adapted our recruitment efforts for virtual assessments, including interviews. Any candidates who want to join our team will need to be comfortable with a virtual assessment, have access to a secure WiFi network and a private space to work from in their home. We are confident in our robust recruitment process and therefore we will be making offers of employment based on virtual assessments. No candidates will be asked to travel into a LEGO office at any time.
Successful candidates will be supplied with equipment for virtual onboarding and training. With the technology and tools we have in place, they’ll be able to work safely from their homes.
About the role
Our Customer Service Advisors handle customer questions from across the world. Every day is different, we handle queries about up and coming product launches, enquiries about our online shop through to troubleshooting our digital products such as LEGO Boost and the LEGO Life App. On average a colleague supports 40 customers every day so it’s busy, but we have fun and remain true to our mission to Inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.
Play your part in our team succeeding
At the LEGO Group we care about making a positive difference. In the lives of children, our partners and our colleagues. We strive to create an environment where there is challenge, development and where colleagues can be creative and have fun.
Our teams are curious, focused and brave in everything they do. This is because the responsibility of leadership at the LEGO Group belongs to everyone. This enables us to succeed together.
Do you have what it takes?
The Slough Contact Centre support our Danish customers, so you’ll need to be fluent in Danish and English, both spoken and written.
Our teams are forward-thinking relationship builders who can communicate with kids and adults alike. They have a passion for different cultures and are curious to learn and develop themselves.
We talk to all our customers through multiple channels including Phone, Email and Web Chat. Whilst not essential, having customer service experience either in a contact centre or service industry will set you up with a thorough understanding of the energy and pace needed to make the role a success. Our teams step up to this challenge and are great at prioritising and multi-tasking, so they can meet our customers’ expectations.
You’ll find our modern open plan office on Bath Road in Slough. 30 minutes by train from London Paddington and a 10-minute walk from the train station. We aim to make colleagues commute as hassle free as possible, so a complimentary shuttle bus is available for those mornings where it’s needed!
